Last August, the mall's store-in-store footfall has been experiencing negative growth -9.3%, with a continued decline this year -4.5%. Moreover, the cumulative mall's store-in-store footfall up to the end of August shows a year-over-year decrease -6.9%, which indicate some shifts in consumer behavior - which is the outbound traveling and shopping in overseas.

This will likely drive businesses to roll out more promotions and activities to attract footfall, with hopes of reversing the downward trend and boosting annual performance.
