Taiwan's three State-developed Science Parks and its nearby Shopping Complex

In Taiwan, there are three state-developed Science Parks - Hsinchu Science Park, Central TW Science Park and Southern TW Science Park. Its authority is called National Development Council (Taiwan) - English website: https://www.ndc.gov.tw/en/

TSMC (note 1) and other IC design/manufacturing fabs (semiconductor fabrication plant) are mainly located in these science parks.

And, the IC (integrated circuits) design/manufacturing sector contributed 61% of grand total revenue in 2023. Please see the chart below for more details.

Shopping complex also growing over the years of science park high development

Around Southern TW Science Park, a large-scale shopping center, within 30-min driving distance, T.S. Mall opened on February 11, 2015 (soft operation on December 30, 2014). Jointly developed by Tainan Spinning Co., Ltd. and Uni-President Enterprises Corporation, it is the largest shopping mall in Tainan. （source: WIKI)

The T.S. Mall's sales kept growing over the Covid years (2020 - 2022), and its growth rate up to 22.26% in 2023 which being the first time, the total sales revenue was over 10 billion TWD（323 million USD）.
