Taipei Times reported - The Taipei Dome itself has been eagerly anticipated for years, and its recent opening marks an exciting development for Taipei.
The Taipei Dome Underground Mall, part of the larger Taipei Dome complex as FE Garden City B2 Garden Corridor, has recently opened. This mall is a key feature of the Dome, which also serves as a significant new venue for sports and entertainment.
It provides a variety of retail, dining, and recreational spaces. The complex, known as "FE Garden City," which B2's underground shopping street opened on 26th September. The rest of the sections are scheduled to be fully operational by early 2025, further revitalizing the Xinyi and Daan districts. The large development is closely integrated with Taipei’s metro infrastructure, facilitating efficient transport and making it a hub for both local and international visitors. The surrounding businesses, particularly in retail and hospitality, are expected to benefit from the influx of event-goers. The adjacent shopping malls (the traditional Taipei high street - Zhongxiao and Xinyi catchment area), offices, and entertainment facilities are poised to drive more foot traffic and economic activity in the area.
